Nikolas Papasinos-Bletas, born in 1982, is a visual creator based in Athens, Greece.
Navigating between editorial, fine-art photography and video, he focuses on activities in both public and private spaces. His creative practice stems from his interest in action, social and historical documentation, as well as journalistic reporting.
Influenced by photojournalism and documentaries, for his personal works his approach involves close contact with the people who become the subjects of his work. He employs a fast, spontaneous style of photography or cinematography to document his subjects in their natural environment. Besides, other areas of his interest include portrait, low-light and landscape photography.
Furthermore, he is professionally engaged in commercial photography and video, with an emphasis on advertising and product photography, event coverage, and photojournalism.
Comfortable in both studio and outdoor settings, coupled with a high level of technical training and organizational skills, he can handle any assignment, regardless of its complexity or demands, delivering exceptional results with absolute professionalism. His advantages include continuous monitoring of trends in his broader professional field, as well as the utilization of new technologies and innovative practices.
Before exclusively delving into photography, he ran a business importing and selling sports equipment, specializing in kitesurfing and windsurfing. Today, he is also involved in website design and hosting, providing consulting services to small businesses and professionals on technology and internet-related matters. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Hellenic-Chinese Business Chamber, a board member and, since 2023, serves as its unpaid director.
